SMITHFIELD, Va. - The house at the center of the dogfighting ring that led to thedownfall of disgraced NFL star Michael Vick is back on the auctionblock.
A listing on Motleys Auction and Realty Group's Web site saysthe five-bedroom house in Smithfield is scheduled to be auctionedon Dec. 15, with bids starting at $590,000.
Last December, developer Wilbur Ray Todd Jr. rejected a $747,000bid for the property, which he had bought for $450,000, along withan additional $50,000 in improvements.
Vick is serving a 23-month sentence for a dogfightingconspiracy. He is expected to plead guilty to state dogfightingcharges Tuesday, a necessary step to make him eligible for earlyrelease.
