WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. (WAVY) - NASA successfully launched two rockets Thursday morning, 15 seconds apart. The launch is part of the Daytime Dynamo experiment, a study of electrical currents in the ionosphere.
NASA canceled the launch on Wednesday due to high upper level winds.
The next scheduled launch from Wallops will carry experiments developed by students. It is set to launch between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. on August 13.
