RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) - The Virginia Department of Transportation is closing down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 between Richmond and Williamsburg for a lane reversal exercise. The exercise begins around 4:30 a.m. and will run until 7 a.m. Sunday.
VDOT said the partial lane reversal exercise will close I-64 eastbound between exits 205 and 231, as well as the on and off ramps at exits 211, 214, 220, and 227.
Traffic will be detoured onto Route 60 during the exercise.
State Police, National Guard, and Emergency Management crews will test the traffic control gates on all the exits.
