WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) — York County school officials say a sewage line is the source of an odor that prompted the evacuation of an elementary school.
Media outlets report that several students at Magruder Elementary School were taken to local medical facilities to be checked after they reported feeling ill.
The odor was reported around 10:30 a.m. Monday. Students were taken to Bruton High School. An after-school program was canceled for the day.
