ROCHESTER, N.Y. (NBC/WHEC) - Nothing says refreshing like a nice bowl of pulled pork ice cream.
Tom Wahl's restaurant has an April Fools' Day tradition of offering unusual ice cream flavors.
This year, it's slow-roasted, marinated pulled pork blended with vanilla ice cream. The restaurant offers free cups of the blend all day.
Customers described the taste as salty and bacon-like.
Last year, the April Fools' Day flavor was grilled cheese. Past flavors include french fry, haddock and sauerkraut.
