DARE COUNTY, N.C. - The Dare County Narcotics Task Force made an arrest on Roanoke Island as part of an on-going narcotics investigation.
Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard with the Dare County Sheriff's Office said the task force served an outstanding warrant for 46-year-old Antonio Terrill Charity on Sept. 12 at his home on Roanoke Island.
Charity was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of habitual felony. He is being held at the Dare County Detention Center.
Hoggard said narcotics investigations into activity on Roanoke Island are continuing and additional arrests are expected.
