ABERDEEN, N.C. (AP) — A 25-year-old Harnett County man is the second person to be shot to death at an Aberdeen hotel in the last two months.
WRAL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/17IDlIE ) that Michael Corley was shot Friday night at the Country Hearth Inn & Suites on U.S. Highway 1. Someone drove him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The hotel's general manager says the victim was not a registered guest.
A Georgia man was killed there in a July 26 shooting.
Aberdeen is about 40 miles west of Fayetteville.
