NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - A sailor aboard the USS Enterprise has been recovered uninjured after falling overboard into the Atlantic Ocean.
The sailor fell overboard early Thursday morning and was recovered by a rescue helicopter.
The Navy said the sailor was working on the flight deck when he fell overboard. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
The Navy has not released the sailor's name.
The person is in the ship's medical department for evaluation and observation. The Enterprise is currently on its 22nd and final deployment.
