WINDSOR, Va. (WAVY) - Tuesday, a Windsor teen killed in a single-car crash last weekend was remembered at a local yogurt shop where she worked.
Savannah Scheil died Sunday night when the car she was driving ran off the road and struck a tree in the 3700 block of Lake Prince Drive.
Scheil worked at the downtown Suffolk location of "Sweet Frog." The shop closed Monday in her honor, and Tuesday, proceeds from sales went to Scheil's family.
"She's very bright, very funny, always joked around," Scheil's boss Ann Weaver said. "The last words she would always say is, 'See you later alligator.' I want everybody to remember Savannah as a happy child, happy young lady that way."
