VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a crash that sent one person to the hospital via Nightingale Friday.
The crash occurred around 11:15 a.m. in the 5300 block of Northampton Boulevard, Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department told WAVY.com.
It looks as though a vehicle involved flipped onto its roof. One occupant was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital via Nightingale.
The northbound lanes of Northampton Boulevard going toward the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel were closed for some time. They reopened by 2 p.m.
