VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Home Depot hosted workshops Saturday to help everyone from the Gulf Coast to New England get ready for hurricane season. More than 700 stores took part, including those in Hampton Roads.
Topics ranged from generator safety to getting your disaster kit ready.
This year, Home Depot expanded their hurricane workshops initiative all the way into Maine. The store also opened more sites along the New Jersey and New York coastlines to support post-Hurricane Sandy efforts.
