VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A goose impaled by an arrow in Virginia Beach is continuing to make progress.
Amanda Panuline with the Virginia Beach SPCA, the goose’s staples are out and he is off antibiotics.
A viewer found the goose at Chartwell Apartments off Providence Road last month. He had an arrow piercing him through the back.
The goose was captured shortly after WAVY News’ story aired and cared for by the SPCA’s Wildlife Team. Panuline said the goose has ‘healed beautifully.’
It is still unknown who shot the goose. Anyone with information should contact Virginia Beach Animal Control.
