VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Fire officials say no one was hurt in a fire at a townhouse in Virginia Beach.
The call came in just after 11 a.m. Wednesday about a fire in the 5600 block of Weblin Drive, according to Amy Valdez with the Virginia Beach Fire Department.
Firefighters were able to get the flames under control within half an hour, but they remained on the scene checking for hot spots.
Valdez said no one was hurt. There may have been some pets inside the townhouse, but Valdez said crews have not found any at this point.
