VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Police have identified a man killed in a double shooting Sunday evening.
According to police, David Maurice Walker, 24, of the 3300 block of Daytona Drive was found dead at the scene of Daytona Drive, near South Plaza Trail in Virginia Beach.
Around 1 a.m. officers responded to the 3300 block of Daytona Drive for reports of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene they found two people with gunshot wounds, according to police spokeswoman Grazia Moyers.
Walker was found in the street dead, according to police. Medics took the other victim to an area hospital. The second victim was reported to have non-life threatening injuries.
Police say 29-year-old Christopher Mack Moore, of the 3500 block of Boyd Road in Virginia Beach was charged with Murder and Use of a Firearm. According to police, Moore was shot by an unknown person as he was leaving the scene. Moore is listed in stable condition at a local hospital.

Charges have been made in a domestic abuse investigation involving a 74-year-old woman in Elizabeth City.
