SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Officials say two adults and four children were displaced following an afternoon fire at a mobile home in Suffolk Thursday.
According to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk, crews were dispatched to the 1100 block of Nansemond Parkway in the Magnolia Lakes Trailer Park just before 4 p.m.
Heavy smoke was showing on the right side of the double-wide mobile home. One woman and her 4-year-old daughter were transported to a local hospital for observation. There were no other injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Norfolk Police are investigating the cause of death for male found unconscious on the beach.
