SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Suffolk Police responded to a scene on Whaleyville Boulevard (Route 13/32) between Freeman Mill Road and Liberty Spring Road Wednesday after several vehicles received flat tires.
Diana Klink with Suffolk Police said from the initial investigation, officers believe an unknown vehicle dropped scrap metal along the stretch of road, causing at least 10 vehicles to experience flat tires.
Klink said Suffolk Public Works responded to the scene to clean the debris and officers directed traffic for vehicle safety.
Charges have been made in a domestic abuse investigation involving a 74-year-old woman in Elizabeth City.
