SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Firefighters were called to a Suffolk funeral home Wednesday afternoon for a report of a fire.
Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk told WAVY.com firefighters were dispatched to the R.W. Baker Funeral Home in the 500 block of West Washington Street around 12:35 p.m. When they arrived moments later, smoke and flames were not visible.
Klink said two employees were evacuated and the fire was restricted to the crematory area. No one was injured.
