SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - An arrest has been made in a December 2012 homicide.
Around 2 p.m. Thursday, Akeem Deshawn Lee Lassiter, 21, of Sunbury, North Carolina, turned himself in to authorities, according to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk. H was indicted on charges of first degree murder in connection with the death of William Kendale Jordan on December 17, 2012.
Lassiter was also indicted on several other charges, including armed robbery, conspiracy to commit felony, and use of firearm in commission of a felony.
Camden County Sheriff Tony Perry said that during the last two weeks, incidents of breaking and entering and home or vehicle larceny have increased in two areas of the county.
