PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - It's summer, and it's hot. And with summer camps in full swing that could mean danger.
Kids in Portsmouth are beating the heat at the Portsmouth Splash Park, a newly developed aquatics play area on Elm Avenue.
The park opened two years ago and is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a $2 entry fee.
And, the park is not just for kids in Portsmouth -- it's open to everyone in the community.
