PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Portsmouth Police have arrested three men in connection with a mid-afternoon shooting.
According to Detective Misty Holley with the Portsmouth Police Department, officers were called to the 10 block of Lexington Drive around 1:37 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers found a 21-year-old man who had been shot in the upper torso. Holley said he was taken to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries is not known at this time.
Holley said 18-year-old Ra'Quan Devonte Hill and Raynard Demonte Hill, 22, were arrested Thursday and charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The third suspect, 22-year-old Timothy Levi Vreen, was taken into custody Friday on the same charges.
