PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A second grade student in Portsmouth is accused of threatening another student.
An eight-year-old student threatened a nine-year-old at knifepoint, according to the Portsmouth Police Department. It happened Tuesday morning at Park View Elementary School.
The School Resource Officer (SRO) recovered a kitchen knife in the investigation.
The eight-year-old was released to his parents, and has not been charged.
No injuries were reported.
