PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - This weekend visitors can see the largest tall ship in the U.S. Service: the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle.
The Eagle will be docked at the High Street Landing at the end of London Street in Portsmouth. Tours will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The tours are free and open to the public.
The ship was captured from the Germans after World War II and is now used by the Coast Guard as a training ship.
Wet weather is expected to move into the area over the weekend, forcing some areas to cancel or change their holiday events.
Four vehicles were involved in a crash on Route 17 in Gloucester Friday morning.
Hampton Police want to prevent crime and have remixed a holiday classic to deter thieves from being Grinches.
