PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Local BB&T bank customers called 10 On Your Side, complaining they could not see a balance on their accounts.
WAVY.com called local management to ask about the problem. Robert Boyd, BB&T's Hampton Roads Regional President, says a computer issue affected access to accounts, at ATMS, on mobile phones and online.
Boyd says customers should not worry about their balances, because all of the money is still there, despite what was displayed.
The company apologized for any embarrassment or inconvenience the problem caused customers.
All accounts should now be working properly.
