NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A special delivery was made at the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk Thursday -- two Hartmann's mountain zebras.
The particular sub species of zebra is very rare, and the zoo offered to bring on a breeding group, according to Amanda Guthrie with the Virginia Zoo.
There are fewer than 60 Hartmann's mountain zebras in North American zoos, and now the Virginia Zoo has four.
