NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - On Monday, Tidewater Community College (TCC) launched a shuttleservice for students.
The shuttle will take students around TCC campuses inChesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach.
"This bus will help me to be able to better myself, because I'llbe able to take more classes that they provide at Virginia Beach orChesapeake or Norfolk. So this bus will really help me to be ableto do what I need to do to graduate," said Ashley, a student fromTCC.
The first two weeks are free, but after September 9, the shuttlewill cost $3 per ride. The shuttle will run Monday through Fridayfrom 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and evenings on Monday through Thursday from5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
