NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Norfolk police pursuit ended in a vehicle crash with injuries Thursday evening.
Karen Parker-Chesson with Norfolk Police said that a vehicle police pursuit began in the 800 block of Brambleton Avenue around 5:45 p.m. The pursuit continued to the 400 block of Fenchurch Street where police attempted to stop a vehicle, but the vehicle fled, resulting in a second pursuit.
The second pursuit was short and ended in a vehicle crash between two vehicles, causing injuries.
Parker-Chesson said the adult male suspect fled on foot, but police apprehended him. He was charged with felony eluding and felony hit-and-run.
