NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Two people are recovering after being hit by a car in the 6900 block of Chesapeake Boulevard.
According to Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department, it happened around 2:05 p.m. Sunday. Police said the two people were walking when they were hit.
Parker-Chesson said both pedestrians were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Officers said the driver who hit them stayed at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time.
Norfolk Police are investigating the cause of death for male found unconscious on the beach.
