NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A 3-year-old girl was injured Thursday in a hit and run, according to Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department. It happened around 12:22 p.m. near 589 East Olney Rd.
Parker-Chesson said the driver who hit the child did not remain on the scene. Police do not have any details about the vehicle at this time.
The 3-year-old was taken to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters with minor injuries, according to Parker-Chesson. She is said to be in good condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
