NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - NorfolkState University students will have to reach deeper in theirpockets to pay for the upcoming school year.
The Board of Visitors approved a 7 percent tuition increase forthe 2010-2011 school year. The increase raises yearly tuition forin-state students from $5,972.08 to $6,226.44.
For the typical undergraduate student taking at least 15 credithours of classes, this equates to a $15.10 increase per credit.
In state graduate students will realize a $23.23 increase percredit hour. Out-of-state undergraduates will pay $42.24 more percredit hour and out-of-state graduate students will pay $72.12 moreper credit hour.
