NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A used car dealership in Norfolk is no longer off-limits to U.S. military personnel.
Per the recommendation of the Joint Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board for Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina, Victory Lane Motors at 6512 E. Virginia Beach Boulevard has been formally removed from the off-limits list.
The JAFDCB said the business had resolved outstanding complaints from service members and took substantial steps to prevent future complaints. The business was put on the list in August because of unfair business practices, specifically "bird-dogging."
Victory Lane Motors has a B+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB's website page about the dealership mentions four customer complaints since December 2011 about unspecified problems with product or service.
