NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Suffolk man has been arrested in connection with a series of copper larcenies in Norfolk.
Capt. Wayne McBride with the Norfolk Police Department says Bradford B. Whifield, 31, stole a large amount of copper guttering from three Norfolk homes between July 19 and July 20.
The stolen copper was located in the 2300 block of Bowdens Ferry Road and Whitfield was arrested July 21, according to police.
McBride says Portsmouth investigators are investigating similar incidents have happened in their jurisdiction.
Whitfield will be in court July 30.
