NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A dump truck overturned on a construction site in Norfolk Wednesday morning, trapping the driver.
Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department told WAVY.com the accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. on USAA Drive near Elizabeth Avenue when the truck rolled over on a pile of material it was on.
The driver was inside the truck for 15 minutes before crews were able to rescue him. He suffered injuries, but the extent of those injuries remains unknown.
Further information was not immediately available.
