NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - It will be a happy week for some Hampton Roads military families, as 20 soldiers are expected to return to Fort Eustis.
The soldiers are from the 393rd Harbor Master Detachment, 10th Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade.
The soldiers spent nine months at Kuwait Naval Base supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. During their time in the Middle East, they were responsible for, among other things, delivering supplies and cargo.
