NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - After 10 years, Jillian's Billiards Club will move from itscurrent location at Waterside in Norfolk to the Greenbrier Mall inChesapeake, said Jillian's Event Sales Manager Maryam Ali.
In light of this move, Jillian's will be hosting a City ofNorfolk Appreciation Party on Saturday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to 7p.m. It will be a family event and open to the public.
During the event, all games will be placed on unlimited play,and there will be an all you can eat buffet.
"This party is to thank Norfolk and the surrounding six citiesfor an amazing 10 years," Ali said in an e-mail. "Also, to welcomeand invite the community to our new home in Chesapeake in June of2010."
The Portsmouth City Council has set a public hearing for Tuesday, Dec. 17, to talk about a plan to bring a casino to the city.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation said work to secure the Bonner Bridge could take anywhere from a week to 90 days.
