HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Police have released new information in a death investigation. The death of Candice Banks, 28, has been ruled a homicide. A final autopsy report determined she died from asphyxiation.
In February, Hampton police officers found Banks dead in a wooded area on Dogwood Street. She had been reported missing a week before, on January 25.
At this point, police have not made any arrests.
