HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A school bus driver swerved off the road and into a wooded area due to a medical condition.
According to Mary Shackelford with the Hampton Police Department, the incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Aluminum Avenue in Hampton.
There were no children on board.
The driver was not injured and at the time was dropping off the bus in a parking lot.
Camden County Sheriff Tony Perry said that during the last two weeks, incidents of breaking and entering and home or vehicle larceny have increased in two areas of the county.
