CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police need the public's help identifying a suspect and a person of interest in the theft of a cell phone.
Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said on July 9 a woman inside a Chinese restaurant in the 1800 block of Liberty Street left her cell phone on the restaurant's counter accidentally and then left. When she returned to retrieve the phone, it was gone.
A woman was caught on surveillance camera taking the phone and so was the person that suspect was with at the time of the theft.
