CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police are asking for help identifying a suspect who attempted to cash a stolen check using stolen identification at a Chesapeake bank.
Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the suspect went to the drive-thru teller at the Wells Fargo Bank on Battlefield Boulevard on July 11. Moyers said the suspect’s vehicle appeared to have a Florida license plate.

Charges have been made in a domestic abuse investigation involving a 74-year-old woman in Elizabeth City.
