CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A 21-year-old Chesapeake man was shot and killed at a house party in South Norfolk early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Quail Avenue around 3:30 a.m. after multiple gunshots were heard in the area.
When police arrived on the scene they found Deonte Jamel Parson suffering from a gunshot wound inside a house. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from Chesapeake police.
Witnesses told police Parson was attending a party at the house when shots were fired.
Police say there are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
