CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake fire crews battled a house fire in the 400 block of Vespasian Circle in the Ravenna neighborhood off Mount Pleasant Road Sunday morning.
Firefighters responded to the area around 7:34 a.m. after receiving reports of a residential fire, according to a fire department spokesman.
Crews arrived on the scene about seven minutes later and were able to bring the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.
Three people who were in the home at the time were able to get out unharmed.
The fire appeared to be accidental, according to a fire department spokesman.
