Police official: Hostage taker at Paris kosher grocery dead

LORI HINNANT, Associated Press ELAINE GANLEY, Associated Press - PARIS (AP) - A police union official on the scene at a kosher market where a gunman took at least five people hostage says the attacker has died in a raid by security forces.

The official, Gael Fabiano of UNSA police union, said two officers were injured in the assault in Paris' Porte de Vincennes neighborhood.

The raid on the market came minutes after security forces launched an assault on the building where two brothers suspected in the Charlie Hebdo killings had holed up.
