VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are investigating a bank robbery Tuesday afternoon.
Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the robbery occurred at 12:12 p.m. at the Wells Fargo located at 4287 Holland Rd.
A suspect entered the bank and made demands before leaving in the direction of Holland Road.
He is described as a black male in his 30s standing 5'11" to 6'2" with a slim build. He was wearing a tan or khaki baseball hat and a blue or black sweatshirt.
Borman said the suspect may be the same one responsible for several similar robberies throughout Hampton Roads in the last month.
