YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection to two burglaries in the Lightfoot area of York County.
John Forrest Wood is facing two counts of burglary, three counts of grand larceny, one count of grand larceny of a firearm, two counts of larceny with the intent to sell and two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.
Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office said the burglaries occurred in the 200 block of Cherwell Court between July 8 and July 12 and the 100 block of Nina Circle between July 17 and July 19.
Some of the property was recovered, but Ivey said none of the stolen firearms have been recovered at this time.
Additionally, deputies arrested 19-year-old Shelby Swartz in connection to one of the burglaries. Swartz has been charged with one count of possession of stolen property and one count of obtaining money by false pretenses.
