CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A 19-year-old woman pled guilty to eluding police and reckless driving after a police chase in Chesapeake in March.
According to Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, Jessica Baltius of Virginia Beach was charged with driving without a license, reckless driving and eluding police.
O'Sullivan said officers attempted to pull Baltius over at Head of River Road and Centerville Turnpike in Chesapeake, but she did not stop. O'Sullivan said officers followed her to Virginia Beach where she stopped at her residence in the 3200 block of Head of River. She was arrested without incident.
On April 2, Baltius pled guilty to both eluding police and reckless driving, according to court documents. She received fines with both convictions, which were paid.
