WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - Williamsburg Police have arrested a suspect in connection to a robbery at an apartment complex in January.
Maj. Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department said officers arrested Mortez Lashaun Graves, 26, and charged him with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery.
Graves is accused of robbing a person inside the laundry room at the Village of Woodshire apartment complex on Jan. 29.
Riley said Graves turned himself in Thursday after officers obtained warrants for his arrest. He is being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
Camden County Sheriff Tony Perry said that during the last two weeks, incidents of breaking and entering and home or vehicle larceny have increased in two areas of the county.
