NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A 34-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday on charges related to an incident involving her friend's teenage son in March.
Holly McPherson with the Newport News Police Department told WAVY.com Amber Gonzalez of Newport News was tasked with watching the 15-year-old boy and his brother while their parents were out of town on March 29.
The mother told police Gonzalez had sex with the teen during that time at his home.
Warrants for indecent liberties with a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor were obtained on April 11. Tuesday, Gonzalez was arrested at her home and later bonded out of jail.
Wednesday, WAVY.com learned Gonzalez was back in jail after violating the terms of her bond.
Further information was not released by police.
