NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say drug involvement may be to blame for a Wednesday afternoon home invasion in Norfolk.
According to Chris Amos with the Norfolk Police Department, the invasion occurred at approximately 1 p.m. in the 800 block of East 29th Street.
Amos said the homeowner thought he recognized the suspects outside and opened the door for them.
The suspects, two black males, forced themselves inside and removed various items from the home.
Amos said detectives remained on scene throughout the afternoon and drug involvement is suspected.
