VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A 24-year-old man was shot in Virginia Beach Sunday night, and investigators are asking for the public's help finding a suspect.
Dispatchers received a call about the shooting in the 700 block of Roxbury Place around 7:40 p.m., according to Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department.
Moyers said officers arrived on the scene and found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in stable, yet critical condition.
The victim as unable to be interviewed by police because of his injuries, so detectives are still unsure what happened leading up to the shooting.
However, Moyers said investigators are looking for a 1999 gold/champagne colored S-series Saturn -- a four-door vehicle with dark tinted windows.
