NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A Virginia Beach man whose body was found burning in York County was murdered in Norfolk, according to the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office.
Amanda Howie with the Norfolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office told WAVY.com Hassan Harvey, 34, and Kasey Rubio, 19, were arraigned on charges of second degree murder, robbery, grand larceny and conspiracy in the death of Austin King, 56.
King's body was found burning in a Mac Tools truck off Interstate 64 in York County Friday morning. He delivered Mac Tools and coworkers told WAVY.com his route did not extend up to York County.
Howie said Harvey told the court he would be hiring his own attorney while Rubio would obtain a public defender.
