HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Police are searching for a man officers say shot another man Monday night, injuring his leg.
Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division said officers were looking for Kenneth Winston Major, 22, of Hampton.
Investigators say Major went up to the victim and shot him behind an apartment in the 300 block of Michigan Drive around 7:50 p.m. The victim suffered non-life threatening injury to the leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Major and the victim reportedly knew each other.
Major is wanted on charges of maiming and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
